In Florida, a veterinarian who has seen your pet only by video may prescribe only FDA-approved animal drugs used as labeled, for up to 14 days (1 month for flea-and-tick-only products), and cannot renew without an in-person exam. What can you NOT do by video?
We cannot inject medications (Cytopoint, Adequan, Convenia require in-clinic administration), perform physical exams for suspected fractures, or diagnose things that require imaging, biopsy, or laboratory tests. For those cases, we refer to your local vet or an emergency hospital.
Do you take insurance?
Most pet insurance providers reimburse RexVet visits — Trupanion, Nationwide, Embrace, ASPCA, Pets Best, and MetLife. HSA and FSA cards accepted. Payment via credit card at booking; reimbursement handled by you afterward.
How is RexVet different from Chewy Connect With A Vet or Vetster?
