Giving leftover antibiotics to your dog is not safe: the drug, dose and days left are rarely right, and a vet has to confirm it is even bacterial.
If Benadryl has not eased your dog's itching in a few days, the cause is usually fleas, skin infection or allergy, and the skin needs a vet's eyes.
If you missed your cat's insulin dose or are not sure it went in, never repeat it: wait for the next scheduled dose and watch for low blood sugar.
