Editorial policy

RexVet content is intended as a general veterinary educational reference. Every clinical page is reviewed by a licensed Doctor of Veterinary Medicine and references publicly available, evidence-based veterinary sources (Cornell University College of Veterinary Medicine, AVMA, American College of Veterinary Surgeons, American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine, OFA, Cambridge BOAS Research Group, Merck Veterinary Manual, and others).

Each clinical page lists a last reviewed date and the specific sources cited. Content is updated when new clinical evidence or guidelines emerge.

RexVet content is educational and is not a substitute for in-person veterinary care. If your pet has any of the red-flag signs we describe, treat the situation as urgent and seek licensed veterinary care immediately — by telehealth where appropriate, in person where required.
