Bravecto is an every-3-month (12-week) chewable or topical that kills fleas and ticks in dogs. It's the longest-acting isoxazoline available.

These usually resolve on their own. If they persist past the first few doses, ask your vet.

Call your vet immediately if you see

  • Neurologic signs (tremors, ataxia, seizures — rare)
  • Severe lethargy

Drug interactions

  • Consult your vet for dogs on seizure medications

When not to use

  • Puppies under 6 months or 4.4 lbs
  • Dogs with seizure history (use cautiously)
  • Dogs with documented isoxazoline sensitivity

Monitoring during treatment

First dose should be observed for 24 hours. Because the dose covers 12 weeks, side effects may be longer-lasting if they occur.
